I didn’t really have much care for symphonic rock (such as it is) UNTIL I patiently listened to The Moody Blues “Days Of Future Passed”. Then I was hooked! Had all the albums on vinyl, then cassette, reel to reel and now CD. I’ve had one of my granddaughters listen to them and she’s amazed all over again, every time I send her another song of theirs. The Moody Blues were always my musical sanctuary and still are to this day. Thank you, gentlemen!

The term "genius" is overused today and has been for a while. But the Moody Blues fit the bill. Music and words combine and force us to listen. They are one of the groups that are the voice of the 70s, and they got me through many a lonely night (and not a few that were not so lonely!).
